Rock im Park takes place at the Zeppelinfeld in the heart of Nuremberg.

Festival site opening hours

To respect the local residents, both the parking and the camping areas will be opened from 9 am on Thursday, 5th June 2025! Arriving before this time makes no sense, since the entire festival site is closed.

Departure must be completed by no later than Monday, 9th June 2025 at 10 am.

Access to the concert area is only possible with a festival wristband on your wrist. You can only pick up your wristband at the CHECK-INs.

In addition to the wristband check, security checks will be carried out at the entrance.

Children and young people between the ages of 8 and 16 may only enter and stay until midnight if accompanied by an authorized person or guardian. Adolescents aged 16 and over are permitted to enter and stay until the end of the event, even if they are not accompanied by an authorized person or guardian.

Both the proof of age of the underage persons (official identification document, child or identity card) as well as the official identification documents of the accompanying authorized persons or persons with parental authority must be presented so that a comparison can be made with the information on the parental authorization.

A form must be used for this, which can be downloaded here.

LOCKERS

Enjoy the festival to the fullest without worrying about your valuables - by using the lockers inside the Safebox!

The lockers where you can lock in your valuables are located at Terminal A and Terminal B. With the built-in sockets you can also charge your technical devices at the same time.

The lockers are supervised day and night by our crew. They are available in two sizes and with 15 or 90 Watt maximum socket power.

We recommend that you book your locker online before the festival starts. If enough lockers remain available, you can of course book them directly at the festival too.

Around Rock im Park

No more than 10 minutes by public transport from the festival site, you will find the historical old town of Nuremberg. If you couldn’t make it there yet you should give it a try, since the city has a lot to offer!

There are several leisure opportunities around the festival:

If you need some refreshment and want to go for a swim, there is the stadium bath and the club bath. The perfect start to a perfect day could be a relaxed pedal boat ride on the Dutzenteich. In addition to the rock marathon on the stages, we recommend to take the time to learn more about the historical background of the former “Reichsparteitagsgelände” in the Documentation Center. The Documentation Center offers you a comprehensive overview of this.

General Information

Rock im Park is a festival that aims to be open to all fans equally. For years, we have been working to make Rock im Park as accessible as possible. This effort applies not only to the design and production of the festival grounds but also to how we interact with each other during the event. Alongside the usual measures, we also rely on your help to make the festival experience even better for everyone.

rockAbility Camping (Special Needs Camping)

Camping at the rockAbility Camping is only possible with a corresponding Weekend Festival Ticket - rockAbility Camping (Special Needs). This is a barrier-free campsite with special facilities in a central location in the immediate vicinity of the event areas at the corner of Waldsportplatz and Karl-Steigelmann-Str. / Kurt-Leucht-Weg.

Space at the rockAbility campsite is limited, so you can camp there with a maximum of one accompanying person. If you are dependent on several accompanying persons, please contact us directly in advance at: info@argo-konzerte.de

The rockAbility camping area has an Assistant Point, which is staffed at all times and will answer your questions about the festival competently. This point has a central power connection point where electrical devices - such as electric wheelchairs - can be charged if required. The individual tent pitches do not have a separate connection.

Tickets & Camping

People with the designations B in their disability ID can order tickets for themselves and a carer for Rock am Ring by calling the hotline at +49 421 353 638. Fans from countries that do not have such letter designations in their disability ID can contact info@argo-konzerte.de with any questions about camping. If their disability or chronic illness corresponds to a recognised designation in Germany, they will, of course, be treated equally. All enquiries will be handled with complete confidentiality.

Medication

If you are in need of medication that requires refrigeration, you are welcome to hand it in at the rockAbility Assistant Point. We ask you to pack the medication in a small labeled plastic box.

If you have diabetes or allergies, you are allowed to bring your pen onto the grounds and infield. Please inform security that you require the pen, as not everyone is familiar with the issue.
For prescription medication that falls under narcotics regulations (e.g. cannabis or substitutes), please bring a prescription from your treating doctor. Over-the-counter medications that do not require refrigeration or special storage do not need to be registered.

Festival Grounds

A wheelchair-accessible platform has been erected in the event areas of each of the four stages, providing an unobstructed and clear view of the stage. By positioning several delay towers in the area of the Utopia Stage, optimum sound is also guaranteed on the platforms. In addition, the path to the stages is paved and specially signposted.

Sanitary Facilities

Barrier-free and disabled-friendly toilets and showers are located in the immediate vicinity of the rockAbility camping area. There are also barrier-free and disabled-friendly toilets on the platforms in the event area. There are also barrier-free and disabled-friendly toilets on the platforms in the event area.

What is cashless?

Cashless means paying without cash. The wristband, which you will receive on site at the check-in when showing your festival ticket, has an integrated chip, which is your electronic wallet and allows you to pay cashless on the entire festival ground.

Why cashless?

Faster: fast and contactless payment.
Safer: reduces cash loss and theft.
Better: more time for your festival experience.

Is it also possible to pay using cash?

No. Only cashless payments can be made throughout the entire grounds (exception: Lidl Rock Store). The advantage: you can use your wristband to pay for everything from beer to merchandise.

How can I top-up before the festival?

Register here with your festival ticket (Weekend or Day Ticket) or use our app. Once you have registered, you can top-up your credit using various payment methods.

Is it possible to top up at the festival?

Of course! You can top-up more credit at any time using our app. Furthermore, there are top-up stations where you can top-up with cash, Visa, Mastercard or EC-Card. You can find them in the infield and the terminals.

What are pre-orders?

You can pre-order some extras in advance and save yourself time and hassle at the festival.

What do I have to do if my ticket was bought by someone else?

Let the person give you the ticket. You can register here or using our app with the barcode on your ticket and top-up your credit. Please make sure that you queue at the check-in with your registered ticket so that it can be assigned to your chip and credit in the system. You find the locations of the CHECK-INs on the map.

Something is not working, who can I contact?

If you have any problems with registration or loading credit, contact us here. Please note that we can only help you in the event of loss or problems if you have already registered in advance.

How do cashless payments work at the festival?

We will exchange your festival ticket for your wristband with a cashless chip when you check-in at the festival. If you have already registered and topped up your wristband in advance, your credit will be available to you immediately since your ticket is linked to the cashless system. Your pre-orders are also stored on your wristband and are ready to use immediately! If you have not yet topped up your wristband, you can do so at the festival using our app or at one of the top-up stations.

What do I have to bring to check-in?

Your ticket and an ID document for an age check. The rest is automatic.
Important: Despite the registration you have to bring your festival ticket to the check-in.

Can I collect the wristbands for my group?

No, each festival goer must be present at wristband exchange (check-in) and needs to have their ticket scanned. It’s not possible to do this for other people.

How do I know how much credit I have left?

You can check your balance any time via the app or website. Furthermore, the electronic cash register will display your current balance every time you make a purchase. You could also visit one of the top-up stations on the festival ground to check your remaining credit.

Can I get receipts or invoices?

Yes. You can view receipts of your transactions here or in our app.

What happens with my personal Data?

We use the cashless payment service of the Austrian company GET (https://www.get.systems/) for cashless payment at our festivals. GET needs personal data from you to provide and process this service – particularly the repayment of unused credit. Your personal data are only processed with your express consent.

We have concluded a so-called Data Processing Agreement with GET in line with European data protection. This means that GET may not process the data collected from you independently, only on our instruction and to our requirements. Equally, your data are protected within the scope of technical and organisational measures (TOM) guaranteed by GET.

You have two options for using the service. You can either register directly via the GET app or website with the barcode of your festival ticket and purchase credit which is then transferred onto your personalised payment chip on your wristband when checking in at the festival. Alternatively, you can buy credit for your payment chip directly at one of the top-up stations on the festival site without giving away any personal data.

As soon as your personal data are no longer needed for the provision of the services and to process payment transactions and the remaining credit, and no legal retention obligations prevent it, your data are deleted. Equally, you can contact GET directly to have your data deleted.

For further information, you can refer to our Data Policy and the Privacy Terms of GET.

What if I still have credit on my chip after the festival?

Your leftover credit can be easily refunded after the festival. The refund starts on Monday, 9 June 2025. Further information will be published here.
